Abstract

Electrophysiology is a branch of physiology that deals with the flow of ions in biological tissues, especially electrical current recording techniques that make it possible to measure this current. Electrophysiology is the study of the electrical properties of cells and biological tissues in the body. It covers the measurement of voltage changes or electric currents in a wide range from proteins with an ion conductor to a complete organ such as a heart. Neuroscience involves measuring the electrical activity of neurons and in particular their potential activity. Large-scale recording of electrical signals from the nervous system, such as the recording of electrical current in the brain by an electroencephalograph, can also be referred to as electrophysiological recordings, which are useful for detecting and monitoring the electrode. Neuroscience is a scientific study of the molecular, cellular, developmental, structural, functional, evolutionary, computational, and medical aspects of the nervous system. It is an interdisciplinary discipline that includes aspects of biology, chemistry, computer science, engineering, mathematics and medicine.
